Terms & Disclaimer
Important: This page sets out the terms under which Project Benevolence operates and the scope of what our certification, reports, and deliverables represent. Please read this before engaging our services or relying on any content produced by Project Benevolence.
1. About Project Benevolence
Project Benevolence is a social impact infrastructure organisation based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We design and deliver verified humanitarian initiatives for corporate partners, producing independently reviewed impact reports, cinematic field evidence, and the Benevolence Certification.
Project Benevolence operates as a private organisation. We are in the process of applying for ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) status in the Netherlands. Until that status is formally granted, no tax deduction benefit should be assumed.
2. The Benevolence Certification
The Benevolence Certification is a proprietary mark issued by Project Benevolence. It is not issued by a government body, a nationally accredited certification authority, or a regulatory institution. It is a professionally signed, independently reviewed certification issued by a private organisation with a defined verification methodology.
The certification applies exclusively to the specific initiative documented in the accompanying Verified Impact Report. It does not constitute:
- A general ESG endorsement of the commissioning organisation as a whole
- A guarantee of regulatory compliance under CSRD, CSDDD, or any other framework
- A legally binding assurance that no greenwashing or social washing has occurred across the organisation’s broader operations
- A transferable credential applicable to any initiative other than the one documented
The certification is structured to ESRS S3 standards and designed for submission into ESG filings. Final acceptance by auditors, investors, or regulators remains subject to their own independent review processes. Project Benevolence does not guarantee regulatory acceptance.
3. Specialist Signatures and Professional Scope
Each layer of the Verified Impact Report is reviewed and signed by a named advisory board specialist. Each specialist signs exclusively within the scope of their own professional expertise and capacity as defined in their individual layer.
Their signature confirms the findings and conclusions of their specific layer only — not the report as a whole, and not the professional validity of other layers signed by different specialists. Project Benevolence advisory board members act in an independent professional capacity. They are not employees of Project Benevolence.
